Martha Middleton Wallace is a 13th generation Charlestonian, tracing her ancestry back to Dr Henry Woodward on board the first ship to arrive in Charleston in 1670. Martha has been a licensed tour guide with the city of Charleston since 2010, and an archaeologist since 1993. 

Born and raised in the historic district, Martha is steeped in knowledge of the history, economy, archetecture and hidden secrets of the walled city.

Martha received a degree in Anthropology and has been an Archaeologist for over 20 years, with many projects in and near the city of Charleston. Her perspective will offer unique insight into this historic and magical city. 

Bradley Tyler Wallace grew up in Charleston, having moved here with his family when he was 6 years old. He grew up playing sports at Hazel Parker Playground in the heart of the historic district, roaming the streets of the historic district and living on Rainbow Row after graduating College. He and Martha Middleton were married in 1996 at St Philip's Church.

Brad recieved a degree in history from the University of South Carolina in 1992. He has a passion for Charleston History and South Carolina History, with extensive knowledge for the history of the area.

Brad has been a licensed tour guide with the city of Charleston since 2016. He will take you on a journey trhough the walled city distict, leaving with an understanding of the places and characters that make this beautiful historic town.

Anne Middleton Herron is a 13th generation Charlestonian, growing up on the penninsula in the historic district. Anne has been a licensed tour guide with the city of Charleston since 2010, with a passion for the history of this centuries old town.

Anne grew up riding her bicycle through the streets and alleys, exploring the nooks and cranies of the historic district of Charleston. Anne has extensive knowledge of the buildings and the characters that shaped this city from proprietory rule to the international powerhouse it has become today. Her insiders perspective will guide you through the complexities of this historic American city.
